Mr. Drummond Mansbridge
Drummond Mansbridge qualified in 1993 and began his surgical training in Glasgow. He attained his Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 1997 and began his specialist training in Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery in 1999.
During his six years of Higher Surgical Training he developed special interests in hip and knee arthroplasty including alternative bearings in hip replacements for younger patients, computer-assisted surgery for knee replacements and revision knee surgery.
He completed his training in 2004 and began working as an arthroplasty
consultant in the Victoria Infirmary in Glasgow with an interest in knee
arthroscopy and forefoot surgery.
Mr. Mansbridge has recently broadened his interest in sports medicine
by becoming involved in the musculoskeletal care of a Scottish Premier League
football club, and will take his Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine
within the next year.
