THE SPECIALISTS
Mr. Clark Dreghorn
Clark Dreghorn graduated in 1977 from Glasgow University and began his post-graduate training in the West of Scotland, before moving to the Yorkshire Deanery to carry out his higher training in orthopaedic surgery.
Clark was appointed to his first consultant post at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary in 1991 and while there developed close relationships with Queen of the South F.C., Nithsdale Amateur Rowing Club and Dumfries Rugby Club. This led to the development of a local sports medicine and arthroscopic service based at Moat Brae Hospital in Dumfries.
Clark returned to Glasgow as a consultant at the Victoria Infirmary in 2000. Clark's practice has evolved over the last 8 years to the level where his major areas of clinical interest are the shoulder, including arthroplasty and arthroscopic procedures, surgery of the hand, and musculo-skeletal trauma. Clark is also chairman of the postgraduate committee in the West of Scotland and of the Scottish A-O fracture management course.
